Bruce Ayers, L.Ac., MSOM, CRT

Bruce Ayers earned his Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder campus in 2004.  This program consisted of 3000 hours of education including 1,100 hours of clinical practice.  Bruce has also received advanced training in this country in Sports Injury and Athletic Enhancement, as well as, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Smoking Cessation, and Appetite and Weight Control.  His training also includes adjunctive therapies such as: moxibustion, acupressure, cupping and auriculotherapy.

In addition, for five weeks during the summer of 2004, he studied and worked at two hospitals in Beijing, China and earned an advanced certificate in herbal medicine from the International Acupuncture Training Center. While in China, Bruce was able to meet, and was instructed by, Dr. Lu – an internationally recognized Master Acupuncturist, and developer of the Oblique Acupuncture method.

Mr. Ayers is a Diplomat in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified in clean needle technique. He is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado and also holds a Colorado Respiratory Therapist License.
