Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage:

  • the preferred and most therapeutic massage depth is determined by the patient and practitioner together
  • aids in the recovery of chronic and acute pains by releasing chronic patterns of tension
  •  facilitates the natural healing process by ensuring a free flow of nerve impulses and circulation of fluids.
  • helps increase range of motion, particularly in areas that were otherwise too painful to move.
  • Essential oils are sometimes used to enhance relaxation and healing

Post Trauma/Injury Massage:

  • helps strengthen, stretch, and retrain movement and coordination
  • aids in reducing inflammation, scar tissue, and increases blood flow to the injured areas
  • can help prevent a prolonged recovery or even help to speed recovery if treatment is done often enough
  • decreases the effects of inflammation, which can become a chronic condition resulting in partial loss of mobility
  • Essential oils are sometimes used to enhance relaxation and healing

Benefits of ALL types of Massage:

  • General and muscle relaxation
